Last year, while writing my book about r&b music, Barry Michael Cooper who did the movie New Jack City and created the expression ‘New Jack Swing’ wrote me this. It helps me to keep doin’ music… G.MoneyYou are on to something; you have a good voice, and real stage/camera presence. You seem to know who you are as an artist, and that’s important, because a lot of artists don’t know who they are. I really like the video, the atmosphere and vibe of Paris. You can be a real international R&B star, and the fact that you surrounded yourself with one of my favorite R&B groups—Playa; their album “Cheers 2 U is one of the best R&B albums of the last 15 years—along with Bizzy Bone and others, speaks volumes.
